Umami Japanese Cuisine began with a simple goal — to share authentic Japanese flavors made with care. As a locally owned restaurant since 2016, we’ve become a trusted favorite in Draper for quality food and friendly service. In October 2025, we’re refreshing our space and look to welcome you into a newly renovated, modern dining experience.

Found this on google while looking for a new sushi place to try out. It was pretty quiet when we came in, but we were late to get dinner. The sushi was amazing!!! And the rolls were buy one, get one 50% off. Each roll we tried had its own unique flair. We ere extremely impressed and super happy with each roll. We will definitely make it a point to come again.

The Sushi was really good. Two of us went and we were seating and served quickly. Staff was very friendly and there is a large selection of Sushi and other dishes in their menu. The sushi here is amazing. The two rolls we got were great! The ingredients they used just tasted so fresh compared to other sushi places around. Would totally recommend to anyone who likes sushi.

Every time we come it’s absolutely amazing!! Make sure to get two of every roll, the second is 50% off. We came for a birthday and they gave us a cute mochi dessert and a candle! We will be visiting regularly!
